Great prog bands you may have missed

We saw this band open for Porcupine Tree in 2007 and they were excellent. Since then we have bought all of their CDs and love every one of them. They are described as a prog metal band but they are not as heavy sounding as that describes. While they have their harder side they are very melodic, write good songs and have a softer side as well. We bought every CD they had at that show and have been keeping up with them since. The band is from New York and is called 3:
